#226 - Past Prompts Revisited : #69 - The Past
By elfin

For Lewis, the past is his future; Val’s death, the man responsible.

For Hathaway, the past is his present; Will’s death, the weight on his shoulders.

Hathaway gives Lewis someone to blame; a face and a name, a man.

Lewis gives Hathaway a crumpled piece of paper spotted with Will’s blood; a chance to face his demons.

Robert cries himself out clutching a photo of his wife then the tears stop makes a cuppa.

James starts to forgive himself after he is saved, when Will and Feardorcha can’t be.

“I’m sorry.”  “Thank you.”  It doesn’t matter which one says which.
