#224 - Freedom By elfin The first time he’s taken by surprise, hauled up by his shoulder, and he has to cling to Mitchell’s legs to stop himself from falling to his death. The second time Mitchell’s arm slips around his waist and his fingers dig into Mitchell’s hip under his heavy coat, hanging on tight as they leave everything behind. The third time they’re hand in hand and George throws his head back as they rise into the night sky, whooping with joy at being free for just a few minutes. But he still clings to Mitchell because it’s a long way to fall.
